In this course students will focus on several key issues of concern to consumers, physical and financial amenities of an area. Students will better understand their peers that they cooperate with during transactions. We will discuss how to better coach clients and consumers on Cost vs Value issues. Students will learn about servicing both seller and buyer clients through coaching. Finally, the students will review the current Realtor® Confidence Index and discuss critical issues focused on the current residential marketplace.

In this course, the student will learn details of the enforcement process that relates to filed complaints against Realtors®, and be reminded of the significance of the Code of Ethics Preamble. Key items addressed in the Code will be explored and students will share knowledge with other students. The Code will be discussed as it applies to daily actions. Students will learn the importance of keeping the client’s interest a number one priority, and how far-reaching fiduciary and statutory duties to clients are as they pertain to daily practices. Students will learn the importance of communicating in a timely and clear manner with all parties involved in the transaction. The expectation of this course is that students will be better prepared to serve the public in a professional and courteous manner.

Finally, following the risk reduction checklist will help the student better serve the public.
